    Al Kaplan

    Al Kaplan joins Capital Contractors.

  • 1972

    Incorporated

    Capital Contractors is formally incorporated in the state of New York.

  • 1975

    Dennis Kaplan

    Dennis Kaplan joins Capital Contractors.

  • 1981

    First Branch Office in New Jersey

    Capital Contractors opens its first branch office in New Jersey and starts expanding its operations throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.

  • 1990

    National and International Markets

    Capital Contractors is awarded its first contract with a large, national, retail corporation with locations across the United States, Canada and abroad. This is the catalyst that takes Capital to national and international geographic markets.

  • 2009

    Acquired by Palladium Equity Partners

    Capital Contractors is acquired by
    Palladium Equity Partners, a leading, minority-owned private equity firm. Founded in 1997, Palladium has
    invested over $1.5 billion of capital in
    more than 25 companies and today
    manages more than $2.5 billion
    of assets.

  • 2013

    Bob Jantzen

    Capital hires Bob Jantzen as President and CEO. Mr. Jantzen was previously President of Aramark International and CEO of Fine Host Corporation.

    National and Local divisions

    Capital formally reorganizes into distinct National and Local divisions to focus on the unique needs of its National versus Local customers and better serve both markets.
